Our media differ slightly but each team member pioneers different forms of visual expression. We turn those individual talents to envisioning the possibilities of our projects.
We think through drawing.
For us, drawings aren’t just pretty pictures that show a final design. Drawings are an active tool to understand a site and explore the possibilities for future joy.
We render fresh possibilities.
Once we’ve worked through design ideas with loose sketches, we create more detailed drawings to inform construction. It’s easier to move a virtual tree in model-space than it is to shift a 200-gallon Gumbo Limbo on site. Our drawings are a tool for discussion and possibility.
We model for those postcard views.
We don’t model often, but when we do–our clients inevitably get excited. Modeling can be an effective tool when you need to convey to a wide range of clients that the proposed design solution fulfills their needs. But landscape never looks exactly like a modeled image–there will always bean element of surprise.
